e-Bill – Paying by One Time Payment Gateway

A companion tool to e-Bill / e-Check is the One Time Payment Gateway. This site allows anyone who knows the Student ID Number, the Student Last Name and the amount to pay to submit an electronic payment to CARS from a checking or savings account.

The student will see One Time Payments on his/her e-Bill Payment Summary and in Bear Facts CARS Payment History.

A convenience fee of $0.50 per payment will apply. The convenience fee will not be charged or posted to CARS.

One Time Payment does not allow for:

e-Bill CARS Information
  • Access One Time Payment from Bear Facts
  • Select Bear Facts for Students/Student Resources
  • Select e-Bill/e-Check Access for Parents and Other Payers (Non-Students)
  • Select Take me to One Time Payment Gateway
  • Enter the 8-digit Student ID Number
  • Enter the Student Last Name. These must match the University records.
  • Enter the amount to be paid to CARS.
  • Click [Submit]
  • A screen will display asking you to confirm the information. You will then be directed to a payment screen.
e-Bill One-Time Payment Gateway
  • Enter your e-mail address. You will receive an acknowledgement of the payment.
  • Select Checking Account or Savings Account
  • Enter your bank account information* in the expanded screen.
  • Click the checkbox "" to agree
  • Click [Submit]. The response may take several seconds. Do not click [Submit] more than once.
  • An acknowledgement of payment will display and an e-mail confirmation will be sent.
e-Bill Bank Account Information Notes on Bank Account Information: Payments will be processed as Web-ACH transactions. Checks drawn on investment accounts, equity lines, credit card accounts and some credit unions are not eligible. Please confirm the correct configuration for the routing number and bank account number with your financial institution.

The Routing/Transit number will be validated by the system upon entry. The bank account number cannot be confirmed until a payment is submitted.If the bank account number is entered incorrectly, the payment will reject and a processing fee will be accessed. Please ensure the accuracy of the bank account information.
