SIS Payment Options
This section outlines the options available for paying charges on your student account. Paying charges through CalCentral allows for payments to post to you student account in real time. Please note, payments made to your student account will apply to the oldest charges first. If you have past due charges, payments will apply to these charges and will not be redirected to pay newer charges.
Electronic Payment Options
e-Check:Students can pay their charges via e-Check. Log into CalCentral, select My Finances and review the “Billing Summary” box. Click the "Make Payment" button to complete your payment transaction.
Students can pay charges using a credit card. A 2.75% non-refundable convenience fee applies to credit card payments. Log into CalCentral, select My Finances and review the “Billing Summary” box. Click the "Make Payment" button to complete your payment transaction.
UC Berkeley accepts the following major credit cards online: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, JCB.
Students can pay their charges via International Funds Transfer (IFT). Log into CalCentral, select My Finances and review the “Billing Summary” box. Click the "Make Payment" button to initiate your wire payment transaction. Quoted rates are valid for 72 hours.

Outside Agency Scholarships
Checks for scholarships from outside agencies, including the California State Governor’s Scholarship Program, should be mailed to:
Important: Checks and electronic checks (ACH) that are returned by your bank for any reason are subject to a Returned Payment Fee of $25. When entering bank account and routing information online, verify the information you have entered to ensure the item is not returned by your bank. Note: Do Not use your ATM/Debit card number in lieu of your checking account number; the payment will be rejected and is subject to the returned payment fee.
